Warehouse Team Leader
Location: Coalville
Shift: 4on 4off days 06:00-18:00
As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring our warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be the go-to person for your team, providing guidance, support and motivation to help them achieve their best.
As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will:
1. Leading and monitoring picking operations to maintain safety and performance standards in line with company targets.
2. Ensuring accuracy in receiving, picking, and dispatching pallets to keep our customers happy and our operations seamless.
3. Maintaining stock control and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
4. Engaging with your team, encouraging best practice, and resolving any issues that impact productivity or morale.
5. Taking proactive steps to address system or facility issues quickly and effectively.
6. Driving compliance with safety and operational procedures to keep everyone safe.
7. Supporting and developing your team through regular performance reviews and one-to-one meetings.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact every day.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
8. Previous experience in a warehouse or transport environment.
9. Current licences for LLOP, VNA, and Counterbalance.
10. Strong IT skills, including experience with Manhattan Scale or similar WMS.
11. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with people at all levels.
12. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
13. A proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
14. A commitment to continuous improvement and a desire to make things better.
