Purchasing Administrator

£25,300 – weekly paid
Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm

We are currently supporting a local manufacturing facility, they are looking for a purchasing administrator to support them due to an increase in orders, this role will be for a minimum of 2 months with a view to extend after this time.
Dutes for Purchasing Administrator
1. Responsible for running MRP action messages
2. Assessing demand (historical and forecast), raising purchase orders, obtaining purchase order acknowledgements, and progressing deliveries.
3. Attention to detail and accuracy are very important requirements, as is the need to be able to communicate well with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
4. Excel skills, in particular vlookups and pivot tables would be helpful if not full training will be given
5. Experience in import clearance that would be advantageous.
Experience for Purchasing Administrator
6. Previous experience working in a purchasing/buying office would be helpful if not previous office experience is essential
7. Must have good working knowledge of excel
