Our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership located in Devizes, is seeking a highly motivated Vehicle Service Advisor to join their busy Service Department. Greet customers professionally and book vehicles into the workshop for servicing and repairs
Advise customers on minor technical issues and vehicle maintenance options
Liaise with the workshop team regularly to track work in progress
Upsell additional services and products where appropriate
Keep customers informed of vehicle progress and status
Take payments for completed work in line with company procedures
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure a high level of satisfaction
Achieve individual and team targets in a fast-paced environmentRequirements:
Previous experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor is advantageous but not essential
Alternatively, strong customer service experience in a related role within the automotive sector will be considered
A full UK driving licence with minimal penalty points
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Good IT literacy; experience with Pinewood Pinnacle or similar dealership management systems is desirable
Confident relationship-building and influencing abilities
Professional attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
