About the role
We are seeking a Senior Public Health Engineer for our Manchester office. We have a long-standing presence in Manchester, working on diverse local, regional, and international projects across sectors such as Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, Science & Research, and Data Centres.
You will join a collaborative, knowledgeable team that values flexibility and high performance. Your responsibilities include supporting and delivering public health designs, working within multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality service and profitability.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing detailed, coordinated, and cost-effective public health design advice.
* Creating specifications, calculations, and reports.
* Designing drainage, rainwater, roof drainage, water services, and fire suppression systems.
* Producing calculations, reports, and specifications with clear communication.
* Attending client meetings and site inspections.
* Managing individual projects with minimal supervision, responding efficiently to multiple deadlines.
About you
To succeed, you should have:
* Proven experience as a Public Health Engineer or similar, with a record of delivering complex projects.
* Knowledge of drainage services, including rainwater and domestic water.
* Experience with Revit and AutoCAD software.
* Self-awareness, openness, and a collaborative spirit.
* Familiarity with relevant British Standards.
