Yugo is growing rapidly across the UK with an expanding portfolio of student accommodation on behalf of high-profile clients. This is a great opportunity to work with an experienced business development department which is a leading business focused solely in the student space. We are looking for someone with exceptional PowerPoint and Excel skills to join our business development team as a Business Development Administrator – Placement. This role supports the new business process by producing proposals (PowerPoints), reports, maintaining accurate records, managing databases, appraising rents, and collaborating with all departments. These appraisals may evolve into in-person presentations to clients, and we often invite our Placement students to attend to share their “student view”.
The role requires a highly motivated individual with strong initiative, the ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines, and comfortable public speaking skills.
Key Tasks
1. Support proposal documents for new tenders and bids.
2. Administer requests for proposal documents and collaborate with team members and other departments.
3. Represent the student voice in pitch meetings and presentations.
4. Coordinate with Mobilisation and Operations staff to ensure new processes and costs are reflected in proposals.
5. Work with marketing and design teams to update content and ensure PowerPoints are creatively current.
6. Support budgeting templates and excel queries.
7. Assist with research projects, city reports, and competitor analysis (B2B and B2C).
8. Research costs for markets to keep budgets accurate and up-to-date.
9. Create market review and demand reports for clients.
10. Maintain internal systems and filing for organized records.
11. Participate as “the student” in in-person presentations as needed.
