Rapier Employment are looking for Class 1 drivers to support our well-known client based in Didcot. Assessments and inductions available.
** This is a great opportunity for someone who has held their C+E licence for 6 months and looking for adhoc/weekend work **
Position: Class 1 Driver
Pay: £17.35 - £19.00 per hour
Hours: AM / PM shifts available (07:00 earliest starts to 16:00 latest starts)
Days: Saturday & Sunday. Possible extra shifts during the weekday
Role includes, and not limited to:
Transport goods between different locations, ensuring efficient delivery schedules
Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle for trunking operations, adhering to company policies
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and report any issues
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery details
Communicate effectively with the transportation team and other drivers to coordinate trunking operations
Some handballing required
Requirements:
Held C+E licence for 6 months minimum
No more than 6 points on your licence
Full UK licence, valid CPC card and digital tacho card
