Behaviour Support Officer Grade 6 £27,269 - £30,060 pro rata Permanent Full Time, Term Time Only Required as soon as possible We are looking for a Behaviour Support Officer to work with our pastoral team in supporting the team leader to ensure the highest standards of behaviour, progress, achievement, and attendance with all our students both in school and as representatives of the school in the local community Your role will include supervising students in our inclusion unit and working with them to reintegrate them back into lessons within the school. You will liaise with teaching staff to coordinate appropriate work and support students in completing it. This is a non-teaching role. Central to the success of our school is a team that works hard for the students and each other. Standard term time only pay is calculated on the basis of the following: • Number of ‘teaching’ weeks – 38 weeks; plus • Public (bank) holidays – 1.6 weeks (8 days); plus • Individual leave entitlement - 5.4 weeks (27 days) or 6.4 weeks (32 days) Individual leave entitlement is calculated on the length of continuous service. Employees with less than 5 years’ service will receive 27 days annual leave. Employees with more than 5 years’ service will receive 32 days annual leave.
