Overview
A Customer Service Advisor in one of our busy yards is a vital role of our branch as it ensures yard operations are carried out efficiently, effectively and safely, while delivering a customer-first culture. The role is predominantly outdoors, serving customers and operating a range of forklift trucks to prepare and load orders.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for personal and workplace health and safety and observe regulations in relation to the Health and Safety at Work Act
* Working independently and as part of the team to serve customers face to face, and to be the best merchant within your local community
* Preparing orders for collection & delivery and ensuring sales documentation is completed
* Loading and unloading vehicles both manually and with a forklift truck
* Making sure all goods inwards are checked and put away in the correct location
* Maintain adequate branch stock levels and count accurately for/during stocktake
Skills and Qualifications
* An approachable team player, with an ability to provide a high standard of customer service
* Willingness and aptitude to learn and have a basic level of literacy and numeracy
* Have worked in a similar role/environment and/or prior FLT experience and licence

Work Time: Branch opening hours are Mon - Thurs 07.30 - 17.00, Fri 07.30 - 16.00, Sat 08.00 - 12.00. We are flexible to consider a variety of working hours/patterns to suit your needs.
