Circle Decontamination - Unit E, Stockport

Salary: Up to £24,499.00 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training, and qualification)
Circle Health Group Decontamination is responsible for providing sterile equipment and instrumentation for surgical and interventional procedures across hospitals in Southeast England and Glasgow. The unit operates 24/7 with rotating shifts covering days and nights.
We have an opportunity for a Driver to join our team in the Decontamination Unit. This is a part-time role for 26.5 hours per week, requiring flexible shift coverage.
Duties of This Role Include
* Providing reliable and courteous delivery/pick-up services to CHG Hospital Decontamination customers, operating transportation vehicles safely and with a focus on customer satisfaction.
* Supporting the production team with various duties to ensure smooth workflow.
* Performing daily vehicle inspections, preparing trip, accident, and incident reports.
* Carrying out minor vehicle maintenance, fueling, and scheduling maintenance as needed.
* Performing additional services as requested by management when not engaged in transportation.
* Adhering to the driver’s handbook and maintaining assigned vehicles, including cleaning inside and outside.
* Complying with all mandatory training requirements.
Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria
* Valid UK driving license with a clean record; annual DVLA license checks required.
* Clean B license to operate vans up to 3.5t.
* Good general education.
* Ability to undertake lifting duties.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
