Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a motivated and dynamic Maths Teacher to join schools in the Hathersage area from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students and help them develop strong mathematical understanding and confidence.
As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons that build students’ confidence and competence across key mathematical concepts and skills at various Key Stages.
Responsibilities as a Maths Teacher:
* Plan and deliver high-quality maths lessons tailored to different learning levels.
* Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages problem-solving and logical thinking.
* Monitor student progress and provide targeted interventions where necessary.
* Prepare pupils for internal and external assessments.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practices.
Requirements for Maths Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferable.
* Experience teaching maths at UK school level.
* Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
* A current enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
* Provide a full CV with a clear 10-year history, with any gaps explained.
