Our friendly village Pharmacy has been serving the local community within the heart of Hampstead for over 40 years. We pride ourselves on not only providing NHS and Private pharmacy services but also having a strong counter presence offering a large range of OTC & P goods, along with an extensive range of high end skin care and beauty products to meet the needs of our patients. The suitable candidate we are looking for should be able to bring innovative ideas, is business-minded and focused on customer service and health consultations and advice.
Key Responsibilities:
A superintendent pharmacist is responsible for the professional and clinical management of a pharmacy and the administration of the sale and supply of medicines. You will lead a small team of pharmaceutical professionals and will ensure compliance of standard operating procedures and up-to-date training is maintained for staff.
* Ensure that dispensing, and all services, are consistently delivered to the required standard through SOP compliance by the whole pharmacy team (including locums).
* Spearhead advanced services such as Pharmacy First, Hypertension Case Study and Travel Vaccination Clinic
* Ensure the delivery of the full NHS permitted quota of DMS and NMS services, and maximize local enhanced service revenue.
* Exceed customer expectations by ensuring consistent delivery of the Company's high customer service standards.
* Drive personal professional development through regular CPD's
* Full compliance with the Responsible Pharmacist regulations and the GPhC standards
* Apply clinical governance, to the Company standard, across all services delivered to patients.
* Apply and use PGD's (invested by the business)
* Start new services within the business such as wholesaling, independent prescribing and more private services.
Mandatory Experience and Qualification:
* Flu qualification
* Pharmacy First Qualified
* Travel Vaccination Trained (Preferable)
* Independent Prescriber (Preferable)
* Excellent communication & Time management skills
* Can work under pressure and alone
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Ability to set clear objectives
* Fluent with ProScript Connect (Preferable)
* Can work at a fast pace and check accurately
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the pharmacy
* Willingness to learn and progress self and the business
* A passionate pharmacist who is driven to provide more services
* Has the ability to multi-task
* An entrepreneurial and business-minded person
* Keeping SOP's and contractual pharmacy paperwork up-to-date
* Training staff in our continuous programmes
* Fluent in English
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 48 months
Pay: £48,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
