Arden White Aerospace and Aviation Recruitment is working with a respected aviation company seeking an Aircraft Fitter / Mechanic. This role is ideal for ex-RAF, Army, or Navy personnel with hands-on engineering or mechanical experience and an NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent practical trade qualification) looking to transition into civilian aviation.

The Role
As an unlicensed Aircraft Engineer, you will support aircraft maintenance activities in strict compliance with technical documentation and company procedures. Military engineering, mechanical, ground crew, REME, RAF, Navy, or aviation support experience is highly transferable to this role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out aircraft maintenance tasks under the direction of the Hangar Foreman and engineering leads
2. Work safely alongside team members to maintain operational standards
3. Move equipment, tooling, and spares (forklift training provided)
