**This position is open to qualified Lawyers or experienced Paralegals with Construction and/or Commercial Property experience**A rapidly growing Construction and Real Estate development company is looking to build their in-house legal functionIpswich Location.You will be a vital part of a growing team, working on a wide range of construction and commercial matters.Construction Law Responsibilities:1. Legal Research: Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis related to construction law,including regulations, case law, and industry standards.2. Document Management: Organize, maintain, and manage construction-related legal documents,contracts, permits, and case files. Draft, revise, and proofread construction documents.3. Contract Review: Assist in the review and analysis of construction contracts, subcontractoragreements, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.4. Project Support: Serve as a liaison between the legal team and clients, contractors, and otherstakeholders in construction projects. Facilitate communication and coordination throughout theproject lifecycle.Commercial/Real Estate Responsibilities:1. Commercial Research: Conduct legal research on commercial law topics, including contract law,corporate law, and business regulations.2. Document Review: Assist in the review, drafting, and analysis of commercial contracts, agreements,and corporate documents.3. Client Interaction: Communicate with clients on commercial matters, addressing their legal needsand providing updates on case progress.4. Lease Amendments: Assist clients with lease amendments, lease renewals, and modifications toexisting lease agreements.5. Dispute Resolution: Handle lease-related disputes, evictions, and other legal matters, includinglitigation when necessary.
