Mental Health Nurse

Wirral Single Point of Access is looking to recruit an experienced, qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMHN). The post requires a minimum of 1 year post‑registration experience and will involve working within a multidisciplinary team across Wirral, supporting the transformation of Community Mental Health Services and providing assessment and signposting for adults and older adults with mental health problems.
Main duties of the job
The Mental Health Nurse will demonstrate a high level of clinical skills, experience within mental health at least to band 5 level, and the ability to write clear reports and assess complex patients. The post is autonomous and independent, requiring travel across a wide geographical area; access to a car and a full driving licence are essential.

Qualifications
* Recognised qualification in mental health - RMN
* Evidence of further professional development involving serious mental illness.
* Willingness to undertake and complete nurse prescribing certificate.
* Non‑medical Prescribing certificate.
Knowledge & Expertise
* Knowledge and sensitivity to equal opportunities issues.
* Sound knowledge of current professional staff development and continuous service improvement issues, particularly in the context of ADHD and personality disorder services.
* Information Management and Technology skills.
Experience
* A good amount of post‑registration experience or demonstrated competencies through a Personal Development Plan.
* Multi‑disciplinary team work.

£38,682 to £46,580 a year (pro rata)
