Our Leicester-based services include a combination of supported living accommodations and a residential home, tailored for adults with complex needs and behaviours that challenge, including learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions. About the Role The Registered Manager will lead our supported living services, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and alignment with BSL Care values. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, overseeing care planning, and spearheading strategic initiatives to expand our service capacity from 1,000 to 10,000 care hours weekly. This role requires building strong relationships with service users, families, and external stakeholders while maintaining high service delivery standards. Lead and manage supported living services in line with CQC requirements and BSL Care values. Ensure full regulatory compliance and work toward achieving and maintaining a "Good" or "Outstanding" CQC rating. Oversee person-centred care planning and support delivery that promotes independence, dignity, and wellbeing. Manage rota planning, staff performance, resource allocation, and service development. Embed safeguarding practices and ensure robust risk management across all services. Maintain high standards of service delivery through audits, quality assurance, and continuous improvement. Handle complaints, incidents, and feedback with professionalism and transparency. Build positive, lasting relationships with individuals we support, their families, and external stakeholders. Recruit, train, lead, and support high-performing care teams. Provide ongoing supervision, mentorship, and leadership development. Manage and stabilise existing services, oversee referrals, and support the development of new service sites. About You Prior experience as a Registered Manager or in a senior leadership role within adult social care. Strong background in supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and behaviours that challenge. Proven track record of achieving strong CQC outcomes. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent/working towards). Sound knowledge of safeguarding, CQC regulations, and health & safety legislation. Excellent leadership, decision-making, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple services and a dispersed team. Ambition and capability to support organisational growth alongside operational stability.
