Benefit Cosmetics are currently recruiting for a Marketing Apprentice to join their team at their Head Office in Chelmsford, Essex.
This is a fantastic development and learning role where you will have the opportunity to work towards a qualification.
The role involves carrying out various marketing tasks, supporting with the planning of product launches, whilst always maintaining Benefit’s unique DNA and undertaking off the job learning with Lifetime Training.

Responsibilities
PRODUCT MARKETING & NEW PRODUCT LAUNCHES
1. Assist the Marketing Manager & Marketing Coordinator in management of new product marketing sends to store, by working with our external mailing house to ensure all stores receive all new launch collaterals.
2. Manage the creation of our new product launchpacks, working closely with our design, education and visual merchandising team.
3. Manage the creation of all additional marketing collateral to support the new launch instore, via guidance from Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Manager.
4. Ownership of the Marketing inbox, responding to any launch queries from the field staff, in a timely manner.
5. Events coordination on new product launches in various retailers
INTERNAL DOCUMENTS + MEETINGS
6. Update of the Marketing Pricing List, regularly updating it to reflect price changes and new launches, working closely with finance team.
7. Attend various cross functional taskforces/meetings, supporting with note taking.
BRIEFING & COPY WRITING
8. Write copy within Benefit tone of voice, as well as artwork briefs for promotional collateral
9. Write clear, concise briefs to the design team
RETAILERS
10. Manage the the creation and delivery of retailer specific promotional support, for select retailers including Selfridges, John Lewis & Partners, House of Frasers.
PERFORMANCE TRACKING
11. Understand brand performance via internal sales reports as well as external NPD reporting.
12. Remain commercially aware by researching competitors with regards to new products and activity, conducting regular competitor analysis reports
FINANCE ADMINISTRATION
13. Raise all Purchase Orders for the Product + Retail team
14. Follow up & update of the Marketing Price List
RELATIONSHIP BUILDING
15. Build strong and positive relationships with the rest of the Marketing team and business.
16. Build strong and positive relationships with all external stakeholders including retailers and our mailing house.
17. Build strong and positive relationships with our field teams regularly responding to any requests, as well as communicating any key information and updates.
