An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join our professional Technical Team based in Letchworth, Hertfordshire.
What you'll be doing
* Prepare and issue detailed house type designs in line with the agreed programme.
* Ensure designs meet the company's standards and all relevant regulatory and technical requirements.
* Work closely with site, attending when required, to oversee projects and ensure compliance with technical designs.
* Coordinate external consultants such as ecologists, architects, landscape architects and structural engineers.
Qualifications
* Hold an Architectural Technology Degree or equivalent experience.
* Experience within the role of a Senior Architectural Technologist, with a consultancy background or in-house design at a housebuilder.
* Ideally CIAT chartered; studies can be supported towards this.
* Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Suite and AutoCAD.
* Ability to produce detailed working drawings and complex construction details.
* Experience in coordinating and checking third‑party manufacturers' drawings.
* Knowledge of current building regulations and NHBC requirements.
* Ability to coordinate external consultants and utility providers.
* Mentor junior team members.
