Role – We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Technical Architect to lead the design, governance, and delivery of enterprise-scale ServiceNow transformation programmes. You will act as the technical authority for the ServiceNow platform, defining scalable architecture, driving best practices, and ensuring solutions align with business objectives and enterprise standards. This role requires strong leadership across architecture, integration, governance, and platform optimisation within complex global environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Architecture & Solution Design
o Define and maintain enterprise-wide ServiceNow architecture strategies.
o Design scalable, secure, and future-ready ServiceNow solutions.
o Establish architecture standards, governance frameworks, and design principles.
o Lead architecture workshops, solution design sessions, and technical reviews.
o Provide architectural oversight across implementation and enhancement programmes.
o Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex platform decisions.
* Platform Delivery & Transformation
o Lead implementation and optimisation across:
+ ITSM Pro
+ ITOM
+ ITAM
+ HRSD
+ IRM
+ Financial Planning
o Support global rollouts, platform standardisation, and service maturity initiatives.
o Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and operational objectives.
* CMDB, Integration & Automation
o Define and implement CMDB strategies aligned to CSDM best practices.
o Establish data governance, lifecycle management, and configuration management standards.
o Architect integrations with Active Directory, observability platforms, and enterprise applications.
o Drive adoption of AI, Predictive Intelligence, workflow automation, and low-code/no-code capabilities.
o Promote innovation and continuous platform improvement.
* Governance & Leadership
o Establish and enforce platform governance, release management, and design authority processes.
o Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
o Lead design authority forums and architecture governance boards.
o Mentor developers, administrators, and technical teams.
o Collaborate with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, service management teams, and delivery partners.
Key Skills:
* Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale ServiceNow transformation programmes.
* Strong expertise in:
o ServiceNow Platform Architecture
o ITSM Pro
o CMDB & CSDM
o Integrated Risk Management (IRM)
* Experience designing scalable, governed ServiceNow solutions within complex enterprise environments.
* Strong understanding of:
o CMDB strategy and governance
o Service Mapping
o Configuration Management
o Enterprise Architecture and Design Authority processes
* Experience working within architecture governance frameworks and large transformation programmes.
* Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
* Experience leading technical teams across global and multi-vendor environments.
