Job Opportunity: Learning Disability Nurse
Our Fylde and Wyre Adult Community Learning Disability Team is seeking a Learning Disability Nurse. Whether you are a student nearing qualification or an experienced band 5 nurse interested in community work, we would love to hear from you.
The ideal candidate will be adaptable, highly motivated, and possess excellent communication skills. Passion for working with adults with learning disabilities is essential. Our Learning Disability Service aims to deliver high-quality, innovative services in partnership with individuals with learning disabilities, their families, carers, and other agencies. You will work within a multidisciplinary team providing clinical support related to physical health, mental health, and positive behaviour support.
About Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust
The Trust offers a variety of services including secondary mental health care, inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health, and forensic services with low and medium secure care. We also provide community-based physical health and well-being services in collaboration with local partners across Lancashire, Cumbria, and Sefton.
