Responsibilities
* Support the SENCO in leading and managing SEND provision across the school
* Assist with identifying, assessing and monitoring pupils with SEND
* Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, parents and external agencies
* Help develop and review Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
* Promote inclusive teaching practices and positive outcomes for all learners
* Maintain accurate SEND records and contribute to statutory processes
* Support staff training and the implementation of intervention programmes
* Support with access arrangements
* Provide evidence that applicants will undertake an enhanced DBS check with Children’s Barred List and membership of the DBS Update Service
Qualifications
* Experience working with children or young people with SEND
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Knowledge of SEND legislation and inclusive practice
* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
* Proactive, resilient and committed to improving outcomes for children
* Relevant qualifications or training in SEND (desirable)
