We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in expanding our service and strengthening our relationships with local authorities across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a business development strategy aligned with organisational goals.
* Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with commissioners and placement teams within local authorities.
* Identify, pursue, and secure new placement opportunities, ensuring that the needs of children and young people remain central to service growth.
* Lead on tendering and framework applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
* Monitor market trends and policy changes within children's social care to inform strategy and service development.
* Collaborate with internal teams to align business opportunities with operational capacity and high-quality care delivery.
Requirements
About You:
* Proven experience in business development, commissioning, or contracts management within children's social care (or a closely related sector).
* Strong knowledge of local authority commissioning processes and frameworks.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
