GSL Education are currently seeking to appoint a qualified and enthusiastic Year 2 teacher to undertake a position at one of our client schools in boston. A Year 2 teacher is demanding yet rewarding, requiring a combination of pedagogical expertise, interpersonal skills, and a genuine commitment to the holistic development of each child in their care. Role of a Teacher:
* Teachers must differentiate their instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners in their class. This involves adapting teaching methods, resources, and activities to accommodate different learning styles, abilities, and interests.
* Year 2 teachers are responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering lessons according to the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1
* Teachers may assist in administering assessments and recording student progress. They help teachers collect data, monitor student performance, and provide feedback on assignments and activities, contributing to the assessment process and informing instructional planning.
* Year 2 teachers assess students' progress and attainment through a variety of methods, including formal assessments, informal observations, and discussions. They use this information to inform their teaching and provide targeted support where needed.
The successful candidate will:
* Have previous experience working as a Teacher within an educational setting.
* Evidence of any additional qualifications, certifications, or postgraduate studies relevant to English teaching, such as a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* Hold relevant qualifications or training in education, childcare, or a related field.
* Are passionate about supporting the learning and development of student and making a positive difference in their lives.
