12 months fixed‑term contract, 37.5 hours per week, rota‑based with on‑call participation, Monday to Friday.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Nurse to join our highly skilled team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will deliver safe, effective and compassionate care across the full endoscopy pathway, from pre‑assessment and procedures to recovery and safe discharge.
Key Duties
* Deliver safe and effective nursing care across all areas of the Endoscopy Unit.
* Support patients and their families through diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
* Supervise and mentor junior staff, students, and HCAs.
* Administer medications and assist with specimens and biopsies.
* Participate in the Endoscopy on‑call service.
* Ensure compliance with infection prevention and health and safety policies.
* Contribute to audit, research, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Skills and Experience
* Registered Nurse (NMC registration).
* Proven endoscopy nursing experience is essential.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* A collaborative, flexible and caring approach with a commitment to patient‑centred care.
* Willingness to rotate through all areas of the Endoscopy Unit and participate in on‑call duties.
