About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will manage classroom behaviour, deliver pre-planned lessons, and ensure pupils remain engaged with their studies in the absence of the class teacher. You will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment while building strong relationships with students and staff alike. Your Responsibilities as a Cover Supervisor : Supervise classes during the absence of teachers, ensuring learning continues. Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies. Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and encourage pupil participation. Support students with their learning, offering guidance where required. Ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding class progress. Cover Supervisor (CS) Requirements: A degree or equivalent qualification is desirable. Previous experience working with young people in an educational or mentoring capacity. Strong classroom management and organisational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. A genuine interest in education and supporting the development of pupils.
