Key Duties:
* Mild steel MIG welding for the manufacture of excavator attachments brackets
* Occasional repairs to hire fleet and customer excavator attachments
* Excavator bucket repairs
* Some workshop machining Lathe, bandsaw and pillar drill
* Keep the workshop area allocated to the job function in a clean and tidy condition.
* Ensure that the Company health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
Key Competencies:
* Experienced welder. Coded welder preferable
* Gas cutting experience required
* 5 years + experience
* Competency using lathes
* Experience in heavy gauge fabrication
* Bucket repair experience preferred
* Forklift truck trained
* Attention to detail
* Able to work under own initiative but also a team player
