GSL Education are appointing a motivated RE Teacher to work alongside schools across Sheffield, with opportunities available in the S11 district, inspiring curiosity and thoughtful discussion. As a Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that encourage reflection on diverse religious and moral perspectives, fostering a supportive classroom where learners feel confident to question and deepen their understanding. Core Responsibilities: Deliver well-structured RE lessons aligned with the curriculum. Promote critical thinking, discussion, and reflection on ethical and religious topics. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery. Requirements: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or another accredited teaching qualification. Experience working as an RE Teacher in a school setting. Strong communication and classroom management skills. A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
