Responsibilities
Professionally accountable to the Head of Safeguarding, the post holder will support the Safeguarding Team to protect adults, young people and children.
The post holder will work as part of a dynamic multi‑agency integrated team, teaching, supervising, assessing notifications, managing referrals and offering advice to staff in regard to all aspects of safeguarding, including Mental Capacity.
The post holder will work with a range of key professionals to contribute to the ongoing development and delivery of services designed to protect children and young people and adults from harm, and to promote their welfare through safeguarding processes.
* Demonstrate an understanding of the issues relating to identification, assessment, treatment and management of vulnerable children and adults.
