Overview
Are you passionate about children and young people? Would you love the opportunity to support the development and implementation of services that will truly make a difference to education, social, emotional and the mental health of CYPs and families? The Hull Mental Health Support Team (MHST) has been operating since September 2022 as part of a national rollout.
We are looking for the right individual to join this dedicated team to drive the vision forward and work as a collaborative part of early intervention as a team leader. The MHST is built on coproduction, innovation and listening and learning to create a service that can meet the local population\'s needs. The team works directly in schools and colleges with children and young people between the ages of 5 to 18. The post holder will offer line management to a dedicated team of Senior Practitioners and Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs) as part of the East Riding Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs).
Responsibilities
* Provide line management to a dedicated team of Senior Practitioners and Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs) as part of the East Riding MHSTs.
* Be responsible at team level for the management of Key Performance Indicators, outcomes and benchmarking data and ensure this is reported through the service structure accordingly.
* Play a lead role in the development of clinical pathways, interventions and the design of resources and materials underpinned by evidenced based practice and practice-based evidence.
* Embed practice into a multi-disciplinary team, supporting team members by providing advice, guidance, and complex case management.
* Provide management supervision to team members, and offer clinical supervision as part of a clinical supervision structure across early intervention.
* Ensure the MHSTs achieve the best possible outcomes for CYPs and their families with a focus on developing and improving quality in practice, setting standards and the conditions required for successful service delivery.
* Build and maintain professional relationships with partner organisations and community networks to support CYPs and their families and ensure these partnerships are used to gain positive outcomes.
