Due to continued growth and demand, they are seeking a highly driven Technical Sales Manager to join their expanding team.
The Role
As Technical Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and growing the company’s client base across Cornwall and Devon. You will be responsible for building long-term customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering technical sales solutions that align with customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities across the territory

Proactively identify and pursue new business within target sectors

Provide expert advice and technical support to customers on cutting tool applications

Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
*
Deliver sales presentations, quotes, and proposals tailored to customer requirements
*
Accurately report sales activity, forecasts, and performance to the Board of Directors
*
Stay up-to-date on industry developments and competitor activity
*
Travel regularly throughout the assigned region (company car provided)
Key Requirements
*
Minimum 4 years’ proven success in a sales role within the Cutting Tools or Precision Engineering industry
*
Strong technical background (engineering qualification desirable)
*
Demonstrated ability in business development and territory growth
*
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
*
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
*
Strong organisational and reporting skills
*
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
