Our client are specialists in their industry sector, they are looking to recruit a Production Lead Engineer on a permanent basis.
The Job Youll do
1. Meet timing and cost targets for all New Product Launches (NPL).
2. Monitor, report and ensure all costs are within budget.
3. Liaise with both customer and suppliers on cost and technical items.
4. Support all project estimates and planning.
5. Ensure all processes meet capability targets and client scrap levels as defined by the project charter.
6. Ensure technical reports are produced for all pre-production builds as defined by the Product Lead Engineer.
7. Provide relevant training to all manufacturing personnel in line with new projects implemented.
8. Ensure risk assessments are carried out for all equipment.
9. Coordinate parts supply and builds (internal / customer) and produce build reports.
10. Coordinate equipment / tooling delivery.
11. Formulate build plans and update bi-weekly.
