We have a fantastic opportunity within our SET CAMHS Team (part of Targeted and System support services Essex) for a Senior Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner. We are looking for someone enthusiastic and motivated to make a real difference in our community.

The role offers a great work-life balance, overseeing your own diary. Full-time hours of 37.5 are required within the hours of 8am to 8pm, with flexibility from Monday to Friday and occasional Saturday work.
Main Responsibilities
1. Make decisions on the suitability of new referrals, adhering to referral protocols, referring unsuitable clients to relevant services or back to the referral agent.
2. Undertake accurate risk assessments for self and others, supporting supervisees in doing the same.
3. Hold a caseload, delivering goal-based interventions to support wellbeing.
4. Develop psychological formulations to contribute to overall care assessments.
5. Work with the Practice Education Team to support colleagues in addressing Emotional Wellbeing priorities using evidence and expert advice.
6. Adhere to referral protocols, providing case management and supervision, escalating cases as needed.
The Ideal Candidate
* Minimum of a second-class Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject or equivalent professional qualification; or qualified Wellbeing Practitioner with 2 years' experience.
* Experience with Routine Outcome Measures.
* Assessment, planning, formulation, and evaluation skills for psychological difficulties.
* Experience with evidence-based psychological therapies, including CBT.
* Clinical experience with CYP aged 5-18 with mental health difficulties.
* Knowledge of child development and psychosocial influences.
* Experience in clinical supervision, case management, and delivering low intensity interventions.
* Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
* Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Email, Excel, and SystmOne.
* Ability to motivate others and develop relationships across sectors.
