Inspired has partnered with an outstanding independent academic publisher to recruit a Sales Account Manager for Spain and Portugal.
This role is ideal for someone based in Spain who thrives on building and nurturing long-term client relationships. You will be at the forefront of negotiating and securing deals across a diverse portfolio of books, journals, teaching cases, and digital content.
Role Details
Location: Spain or UK (with regular travel across Spain and Portugal)
Salary: 50, + performance-related bonus
Contract: Permanent, full-time
About the Role
As Sales Account Manager, you will own the full sales cycle for publishing products in your region. Your key responsibilities will include:
·Identifying, prospecting, and pitching to new leads, while developing long-term relationships with new and existing clients
·Managing a portfolio of institutional accounts, government bodies, and corporate customers
·Negotiating high-value agreements with national and institutional clients
·Delivering engaging presentations and product training sessions
·Representing the company at major industry events and networking opportunities
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a proactive sales professional with:
·A strong understanding of academic publishing sales and the Open Access landscape
·Proven sales experience in publishing, education, or B2B media
·Fluency in Spanish (Portuguese is highly desirable)
·Exceptional consultative sales skills and a customer-focused approach
