Religious Studies Teacher We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Religious Studies Teacher who can also teach PSHE to join a Good rated secondary school in Birmingham from October 2025. This is a full-time supply position, with full teaching responsibilities across Key Stages 3 & 4 (and possibly beyond), including planning, delivery, marking, and pastoral duties. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons that cover ethics, world religions, philosophy, and beliefs, inspiring students to think critically. Teach PSHE lessons, delivering content around personal development, citizenship, health, relationships, and well being. Plan, assess, mark work, track student progress, and adapt teaching to meet diverse learner needs. Contribute to the wider life of the school: assemblies, discussions, pastoral support, and working with parents where necessary. Maintain excellent classroom management and foster a safe, inclusive, respectful environment. Person Specification Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge in Religious Studies; experience teaching at GCSE level desirable. Experience with PSHE delivery and understanding of its curriculum requirements. Excellent communication, organisational skills, and ability to adapt to different learners. Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and inclusion.
