Healthcare Assistant - Highlands, Invergordon
This is an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team and help deliver care and support to people with a life-limiting illness, while also offering vital emotional support to their families. We adopt a one-to-one approach to care, ensuring meaningful contact with patients and their families, usually in their own homes.

* Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, aligned with AFC BAND 2 £23,362 - £25,368 per annum + Enhancement
* Hours: Various - Full time, Part time, As & When
* Contract Type: Permanent
* Location: Highlands – within a 25 mile radius of your home address

What we are looking for
* Relevant community experience
* Continued access to NHS Pension Scheme (subject to eligibility)
* S/NVQ Level 2/3 qualification or equivalent (desirable)
* Emotional strength and ability to work independently, with ongoing training and support provided
Experience in End of Life care is preferred. You will work independently, using your initiative in line with the patient's care plan, performing duties such as assisting with hygiene, monitoring symptoms, medication support, record keeping, and providing emotional support to patients and families.
