Job Opportunity: Assistant Psychologist
We are seeking an Assistant Psychologist passionate about supporting adults with developing mental health illnesses, learning disabilities, and Autism.
About Coveberry Oldbury:
Coveberry Oldbury is a secure rehabilitation hospital for individuals detained under the mental health act or requiring informal hospital treatment whilst under DOLs. All supported individuals primarily have Learning Disabilities and/or Autism, with co-existing mental health conditions.
Job Role:
As an Assistant Psychologist, you will deliver high-quality care under the supervision of a Practitioner Psychologist. Your responsibilities include assisting in routine care plan formulation, contributing to MDT meetings, supporting training for team members, and aiding Practitioner Psychologists in daily tasks.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Maintain a professional approach to patient/resident care at all times.
* Develop and sustain good working relationships with colleagues, visitors, carers, MDT members, and senior staff.
* Adhere to company policies, especially regarding confidentiality, administrative duties, and infection prevention, including hand hygiene and PPE use.
* Support quality initiatives within the organization.
* Familiarize and comply with the Business Continuity Plan for emergencies.
* Use organizational resources efficiently, minimizing wastage.
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience working in care environments.
