Ashridge Ashridge is welcoming a full‑time Support Worker to join our team.
£12.60 per hour
Shifts: 36‑42 hours per week across 12‑hour shifts. Weekends required every other weekend. Ideal shift hours 08:00‑20:00.
Our site is located on a quiet street in Boston. We provide residential support to 18 adults with a primary learning disability diagnosis. We support our residents using a positive behaviour support (PBS) approach and aim to help each person learn the skills they need to live a healthier and happier life back in the community.
What you’ll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team committed to our residents’ wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future.
Responsibilities
* Supporting personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, eating and personal hygiene.
* Performing light housekeeping tasks such as dusting, vacuuming and changing bed clothes.
* Assisting with safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of individuals.
* Assisting and supporting attendance to medical appointments.
* Observing, monitoring and recording physical and emotional well‑being, and quickly reporting any changes to senior staff.
* Supporting the development of important family connections and liaising with specialists, including Speech & Language Therapists and Learning Disability teams.
* Encouraging participation in social and recreational activities that promote involvement and personal growth.
What you’ll bring to the role

Due to a genuine occupational requirement, you will hold a Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
