Estimator - Drylining / Facades / Fit-Out Location: London & South East Salary: £50,000 - £80,000 (depending on experience) Type: Permanent About the Role A leading specialist subcontractor within the drylining, facades, and fit-out sector is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their growing pre-construction team. You'll be responsible for preparing accurate tenders and cost plans across a range of high-value residential and commercial schemes, working closely with the commercial, design, and delivery teams from tender stage through to project award. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex interior and envelope packages for Tier 1 main contractors and developers. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed estimates and tender submissions for drylining, partitions, ceilings, facades, and fit-out packages. Review tender documentation, drawings, and specifications to identify project requirements and risks. Conduct material take-offs, subcontractor enquiries, and price comparisons. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive and compliant pricing. Produce clear tender summaries and present cost breakdowns to senior management. Work collaboratively with the pre-construction and commercial teams to ensure smooth handover to delivery. Maintain accurate records of tender results, cost data, and supplier databases. Requirements Proven background as an Estimator within drylining, facades, or interior fit-out. Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail. Experience using estimating software and Excel for take-offs and cost analysis. Confident communicator with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
