About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in the Rowley Regis area. Role Responsibilites:
* Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential KS5 teaching.
* Develop students’ understanding of business concepts, enterprise and the wider economy.
* Use a variety of teaching approaches to cater for different learning styles and abilities.
* Monitor progress, provide constructive feedback and implement interventions where necessary.
* Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development and resource creation.
* Support the wider life of the school through extracurricular and enrichment activities.
Role Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Degree in Business, Economics or a related subject.
* Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK curriculum.
* Have a DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
* Excellent communication, organisation and classroom management skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
