A leading international law firm is seeking a talented Employment Solicitor to join its dynamic team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of high-quality employment matters for UK and global clients across multiple sectors, including transport, insurance, government, healthcare and professional services.
The Role
You will advise employer clients on a wide variety of employment law issues, both contentious and non-contentious. Responsibilities include:
* Managing Employment Tribunal litigation, including drafting pleadings and preparing cases for hearing
* Assisting senior lawyers with complex advisory work, such as discrimination, TUPE, reorganisations and employee relations
* Drafting contracts, settlement agreements, policies and other employment documentation
* Delivering clear, practical and commercially focused advice
* Supporting business development initiatives within the Employment team
About You
* Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in employment law
* Strong experience in contentious matters; advocacy experience is desirable but not essential
* Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills
* Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines
* Proactive, team-focused approach with strong client-handling skills
