: The opportunity: At Leonardo, we have a fantastic new opportunity for a Principal Training Analyst to join our team within the Customer Support and Service Solutions (CS3) line of business. This role will be part of the Major Campaigns team - developing solutions for the next-generation of support and training services, to meet the needs of a variety of customers around the world primarily in the Land and Air domains. You will have the opportunity to analyse, design and evaluate training solutions for our customers both across the business-winning phase and in support of contract delivery. You will play a key role in in creating optimal training solutions for the customer, user and business taking into account compliance and governance and applying a Systems Approach to Training. We are looking for someone who can apply their training expertise to complex large-scale programs and who is good at drawing out and understanding stakeholder needs. You will work closely with the internal Leonardo teams and with external suppliers and customers, giving you the opportunity to influence the holistic solution. What you'll do as a Principal Training Analyst: Support the identification, elicitation, capture and management of a complete set of training requirements (individual, collective, local and customer site-specific). Carry out analysis and design of training solutions, including the identification of optimal blended learning and training approaches. Determine evaluation methodology and demonstrate compliance and performance for all Learning and Development interventions. Utilise technology to assist in the identification and collation of training analysis data. Identify individual role/job competences and validate existing role/job competence data, using research where appropriate. Produce formal training documentation, presentations and review material as required. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, partners and suppliers to ensure all elements of the training solutions are considered and that they meet the customer and end user's needs by understanding their concept of use and operation. Develop and conduct interviews, facilitate workshops and design questionnaires to support key training analysis requirements. Foster relationships and networks within and outside CS3 to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developments and actively identify opportunities for adoption of best practice. We would like to hear from you if you have a combination of the following: Proven ability to analyse, design and/or evaluate training solutions including activities such as performing training needs analysis, role analysis, training gap analysis, training options analysis, producing training needs reports and conforming to a training quality manual. Knowledge and experience of applying DSAT and JSP 822. Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders from a wide range of organisations, disciplines, backgrounds and levels of seniority. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience of delivery to a variety of audiences. Proven facilitation and stakeholder management skills. Self-motivated with an aptitude for problem solving and driving difficult issues to conclusion. Experience of working on projects related to defence-based Land and/or Air training environments Experience of using a recognised learning management system. Recognised Training Qualifications such as: Training Manager course or a recognised higher or equivalent Train the Trainer (TTT) course (Level 4 NVQ) or a recognised higher or equivalent qualification/course. Internal Validation course (Level 4 NVQ) or a recognised higher or equivalent qualification/course. External Validation course (Level 4 NVQ) or a recognised higher or equivalent qualification/course.
