The Project Manager is responsible for the successful management and coordination of Task Orders, from initiation through engineering, procurement, construction, to handover. This role aims to challenge traditional ways of working to improve the HPC contract significantly.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver the project according to scope, schedule, cost, and quality standards.
2. Ensure safe project delivery, meeting all EHS&Q (including CDM) requirements at all phases.
3. Coordinate engineering, fabrication, and installation activities with the Projects Director.
4. Create and implement the project execution plan aligned with Bilfinger's strategy for HPC.
5. Define, estimate, and control scope changes throughout the project.
6. Manage project finances, including profit margins, cash flow, invoicing, and customer approvals.
7. Oversee key suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring appropriate commercial arrangements.
8. Maintain baseline schedule and control estimates, managing project integrity with any changes.
9. Report on project progress, including % complete, actuals, forecast AFC, Earned Value, and changes.
10. Build and manage project teams, ensuring resource adequacy and high productivity.
11. Employ project controls for risk management and change control.
12. Apply company and project quality systems effectively, raising concerns when necessary.
13. Act as the main interface with stakeholders and the customer, maintaining high satisfaction levels.
14. Coordinate with MEH Alliance construction and Bilfinger project leadership, representing Bilfinger in HPC meetings.
15. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Senior Project Manager.
16. Undertake development to complete SQEP.
17. Be prepared to act in succession as directed.
