IT Manager Location: Watford & London (with travel as required) Reports to: Group Head of IT
Are you an experienced IT professional who thrives in a multi-site business environment? We are seeking an IT Manager to oversee the day-to-day delivery of reliable, secure, and efficient IT services across a group of dynamic UK-based companies.
Reporting to the Group Head of IT, you will play a key role in ensuring that our IT infrastructure is robust, our users are well-supported, and that our systems remain secure and compliant with data protection regulations. Key Responsibilities:
IT Support and Service Delivery: Provide high-quality IT support across UK sites, managing incidents, requests, and problems to ensure timely resolution and user satisfaction.
Infrastructure Management: Maintain the performance and availability of Microsoft 365, networking, cloud, and on-premise infrastructure; implement proactive monitoring and maintenance.
Security and Compliance: Enforce IT security policies and ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant standards. Support risk reviews, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning.
Project Coordination: Assist in delivering IT projects and new technology rollouts in collaboration with the Group Head of IT and local teams.
Vendor and Asset Management: Manage supplier relationships, IT procurement, and accurate tracking of hardware, software, and licenses.
Policy and Documentation: Ensure consistent application of IT policies and maintain up-to-date documentation and user guidance.
User Training and Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for IT queries, supporting onboarding and providing training where needed to drive user confidence and productivity.
Candidate Profile:
Essential:
Strong experience in IT operations across multi-site or multi-business environments
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and IT infrastructure
Good understanding of UK GDPR and IT compliance requirements
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical matters to non-technical users
Proven problem-solving and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Self-motivated, proactive, and service-oriented
Additional Requirements:
Regular travel to Watford and London offices, with occasional travel to other UK sites
Full UK driving licence
Flexibility to provide support outside core hours when required
