Join Our Team as a Contract Manager!
Location: Westbury, Wiltshire - Commercial Contract Area (with some regional travel, flexible on base location)
Salary: From £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 40 hours per week - flexible start and finish times; approx. 70% field-based, 30% office-based
About the Role
Are you an experienced Contract Manager in grounds maintenance or soft landscaping? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Join idverde, the UK's leading grounds maintenance and landscape creation provider, and take the reins of one of our most complex and high-profile commercial contracts.
In this dynamic role, you'll manage a portfolio of approximately 130 contracts, facing a variety of day-to-day challenges and opportunities. You'll be responsible for:
* Driving contract performance and ensuring financial targets are met.
* Maintaining strong client relationships.
* Leading and developing your team while ensuring health and safety compliance.
* Managing full P&L responsibility and growing the contract from a turnover of £1 million to £2 million.
Your Responsibilities
* Oversee a diverse portfolio of approximately 130 commercial contracts, ensuring consistent high-quality delivery.
* Manage day-to-day operations while building and maintaining strong client relationships.
* Drive contract growth and hold full P&L responsibility.
* Lead and develop a team of 15, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience managing complex commercial contracts in grounds maintenance or landscaping.
* A hands-on background, ideally starting as a Grounds Maintenance Operative, with clear progression into contract management.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and communicate effectively.
* Self-motivated and able to prioritize multiple clients, with a full clean UK driving licence.
