Job Type: Temporary (6 weeks, potentially longer)
Working Hours: Full-time, 5 days a week
We are seeking a PE Teacher to join a dynamic team on a temporary basis to cover a period of sickness, with the potential for extension. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong background in both practical and theoretical aspects of physical education.
Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
* Teach a balanced curriculum that combines both practical physical activities and theoretical knowledge.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to enhance student learning.
* Maintain discipline through effective classroom management strategies.
* Ensure the health and safety of all students during physical activities.
* Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of students.
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Proven experience in teaching PE, covering both practical and theory-based lessons.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to engage and inspire students.
