As IT & Business Solutions Director, you will work in close partnership with senior leaders across our organisation, acting as a strategic link between business objectives and technical capability. You will lead the design and delivery of solutions that improve productivity, reduce cost-to-serve, enhance customer experience and support sustainable, profitable growth. Purpose of the role The IT & Business Solutions Director plays a pivotal role in enabling the growth ambitions of Movianto UK. The commercially focused leadership role focuses on leveraging technology, data, automation and process optimisation to drive efficiency, scalability and informed decision making across the business. How you'll make an impact as a IT & Business Solutions Director at Movianto: Commercial Enablement Own and deliver Business Solutions and Technology Enablement strategy aligned to growth, EBITDA and productivity goals. Translate commercial and operational challenges into technology-enabled solutions with clear financial and operational benefits. Partner with Executive and Senior Leaders to prioritise initiatives and build robust, ROI-led investment cases. Business Partnership and Solutions Act as a trusted advisor to functional leaders on the effective use of technology and data to improve performance. Serve as the primary interface between the business and the outsourced IT provider, ensuring alignment, service quality and value. Ensure initiatives are business-led, user-centred and outcomes-focused, challenging existing ways of working. Data Insights Data and insights Build a strong data and analytics capability that delivers timely, accurate and actionable insights. Embed a data-driven culture through improved management information, dashboards and performance reporting. Establish clear data governance, ownership and accountability across the organisation. Automation and Continuous Improvement Identify and implement automation opportunities across core operational and support processes. Sponsor and govern scalable digital and automation programmes embedded into day-to-day operations. Apply continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste, manual effort and operational friction. Technology Oversight and Risk Oversee and challenge technology delivery without being hands-on. Ensure outsourced IT services are secure, compliant and aligned to business and regulatory requirements. Oversee technology risk, cyber security, business continuity and future scalability. Business Solutions team Leadership Build and lead a high-performing Business Solutions team with a strong commercial and improvement mindset. Set priorities and outcomes aligned to business strategy and EBITDA improvement. Develop team capability and balance internal resources with third-party partners to deliver at pace and scale. What it will take to thrive as a IT & Business Solutions Director at Movianto: Senior leadership experience in a commercially focused transformation role (e.g. Business Solutions, Digital Transformation, Operational Excellence). Experience leveraging technology, data and automation to drive efficiency, productivity and EBITDA improvement in complex operational environments. Experience managing outsourced IT providers and third-party technology partners, including contract and performance governance. Strong commercial acumen and ability to link operational improvement to financial outcomes and influence senior stakeholders to deliver cross-functional change. Background in logistics, supply chain, healthcare, pharmaceuticals or other highly regulated sectors, with exposure to scaling organisations and system readiness for growth or acquisition. Experience implementing automation solutions (e.g. RPA, workflow automation, system integrations). Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
