Job Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Learning Support Practitioner Level 3 (LSP3) to join our team for someone who genuinely shares our passion for inclusion. You will become part of a dedicated teaching and support team with high aspirations for meeting the needs of our diverse learners. As an LSP3, you will play a vital role in supporting children’s learning and development, helping them to reach their full potential. You will work closely with teachers and colleagues to provide tailored support, including for children with additional needs.
Responsibilities
* Delivering high‑quality phonics sessions (we use Little Wandle)
* Supporting learning and achievement for vulnerable groups within Early Years
* Providing targeted interventions and in‑class support
Qualifications
* Appropriately literate and numerate, with a strong understanding of how to support early learning effectively
* Relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)
* Proven, paid experience working within a primary school setting as part of a Learning Support team
* Experience in delivering high‑quality phonics sessions
* A child‑centred, flexible and professional approach
Desirable Skills and Training
* First Aid training
* Little Wandle phonics training
* Food Hygiene
* Forest School Leader qualification (advantageous)
* Experience working in urban settings such as Sandwell
Working Pattern
Hours: 8:45am – 3:45pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent
Start date: September 2026
Salary: Band D, SCP 9‑17 £27,254‑£31,022 pro rata (£14.13‑£16.08 per hour) (actual £21,085‑£24,104 per annum)
