We are looking for an experienced, well-presented Receptionist to support the continued growth of an established family-owned business in Leeds. Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of electrical power distribution equipment and pioneers of super low loss amorphous transformer technology. This is a front-facing role where youll be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and senior executives, delivering a consistently polished and welcoming experience. The successful candidate will play a vital role in being the face of the business, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities: To deliver consistently high-quality, professional front-of-house experience to all visitors and guests. As the central point of contact for all front-of-house operations ensure a seamless and efficient service is maintained throughout the premises. Manage incoming telephone calls, handling general inquiries, redirecting to appropriate departments, and taking messages as needed. Maintain a constant and professional presence at reception, ensuring visitors are welcomed and assisted with the sign-in book and induction procedures appropriately. Prepare refreshments for visitors and meetings. Order, collect, prepare and present food and beverages for meetings Identify, report, and escalate any building-related issues. Maintain and update essential documentation. Arrange access for contractors and service providers as necessary. Assist during emergency situations such as fire evacuations, ensuring all fire exits and common areas remain unobstructed. Assist in organising company social events and the Company update Book travel, hotels and meeting rooms as required Maintain housekeeping for the stationary cupboard Organise and assist in preparations for board meetings/and events. Complete administration tasks for departments as and when required. Cover holiday/sickness with job share partner. Ad hoc duties Skills, Knowledge & Experience: Proven experience in a front-of-house, receptionist, or customer service role. Well-presented with a professional demeanor, reflecting the standards and values of the company. Full driving licence essential. Strong organisational and communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Competent in the use of Microsoft Office and general IT systems, with the ability to learn new platforms as needed. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security. Good interpersonal skills with a can-do attitude and proactive and adaptable approach to work. Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergencies or high-stress situations. A proactive and solution-focused approach, demonstrating initiative and sound judgement in day-to-day duties. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with a wide range of customers.
