We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Assistants to support individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This role involves assisting with personal care, providing person centred care, and ensuring that clients' needs are met with dignity and respect.
Duties
* Assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
* Implement and follow care plans tailored to individuals needs.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in our clients' conditions.
* Drive clients to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safe transportation.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
* Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.
* Engage in community activities that promote social interaction among our clients.
Requirements
* Previous experience in home care or a similar environment is preferred but not essential.
* Strong understanding of care plans and home care practices.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Valid driving licence and use of own vehicle.
* Proficient IT skills for record keeping and communication.
* A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to assist others.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
