Business Development Officer
Overtime:
The Business Development Officer at ActionINVEST Caribbean is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by generating leads, building client relationships, and converting prospects across multiple product lines, including Who’s Who, FITTskills, ActionCOACH, events, and other business solutions. This role requires strong communication, disciplined follow-up, CRM management, and active participation in networking events, client meetings, and field activities. The ideal candidate is target-driven, tech-savvy, and confident engaging with business leaders while using digital and AI tools to improve productivity.
Responsibilities:
Generate new business leads through calls, outreach, networking, and referrals.
Conduct daily sales conversations and book meetings with prospective clients.
Promote and sell Who’s Who advertising and visibility packages.
Drive enrolments and business opportunities for FITTskills training programmes.
Convert leads into registrations for ActionCOACH workshops, seminars, and training.
Identify and qualify prospects for ActionCOACH coaching consultations.
Support sales for events, sponsorships, expos, and other company products.
Maintain client records, pipeline updates, and follow-up schedules in the CRM.
Prepare quotations, invoices, and assist with payment follow-up.
Attend client visits, expos, seminars, and networking events to generate opportunities.
Use AI and digital tools to improve research, outreach, and sales productivity.
Submit weekly performance and pipeline reports.
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Management, or a related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Confidence interacting with business owners, executives, and professionals.
Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills.
Good written English and professional communication ability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM systems.
Willingness to learn and use AI tools responsibly.
Valid driver’s licence.
Access to a personal vehicle for work-related travel.
Ability to work evenings or weekends when required.
Strong time management, organization, and target orientation.
