OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION:
Your duties will involve general cleaning of all shopping areas. You will be responsible to maintain and clean all areas, and tasks involve brushing, mopping, checking, and cleaning toilet areas, patrolling malls for litter and spillages. You must be proactive and be able to problem solve, with good attention to detail and reliable. You will provide customer service to public and support with Fire and Evacuation procedures. You must have good time keeping, great communication skills and impeccable attendance.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
* Various Cleaning and machine operation duties
* Monitor equipment and all assets on the contract and ensure that they are safe to use.
* Assist team members that have not met the required standards to enhance standards avoiding any failures or any anything that may be captured on external audits or visits.
* Ordering of cleaning equipment, consumables and uniforms ensuring they meet with- budget and sufficient stock is always available on site.
* Identify, if and where processes are not meeting requirements and propose solutions working with the senior management team.
* To ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed and challenge any activity not following established procedures, escalate any concerns to your Line Manager.
* Monitor compliance with Risk Assessments, enforce the control measures, and stop anyone who fails to comply.
* Ensure task work assessments and safety provisions have been explained with the employee and signed prior to work commencing.
* Assist management with investigation and reporting of accidents/ incidents revision of RAMS.
* Actively represent Pack Horse Management values on site by being presentable, uniformed, and helpful, always willing to go the extra mile.
* Ensuring procedures, policies and regulations are correctly followed and complied with.
* Effectively work with the management in monitoring and maintaining quality audits inspections.
* Establish and maintain good relationships and lines of communication with service partners, colleagues, and tenants.
* Promote a culture of service excellence and maintain a professional image, both personally and corporately – champion an excellent cleaning service.
